Sixgill – KONE Smart Construction Project Collaboration

Sixgill recently completed a first phase project with KONE for next generation people flow for the construction industry. Sixgill’s successful collaboration with KONE resulted in co-created unique value propositions for using sensor data from people, places, and things in and around smart construction sites. The pilot project yielded a range of targeted sensor data insights at a live KONE construction site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The vision of the growing Sixgill-KONE relationship is to continue to collaborate, innovate and create industry-changing smart construction solutions and technology.

The Sixgill-KONE project was an outcome of Sixgill’s participation in Combient Foundry’s Venture Client Cycle. Through this highly focused innovation and rapid iteration program, Sixgill had the exciting opportunity to work shoulder-to-shoulder with KONE on specific challenges to be solved by the Sense sensor data services for worksite optimization and workforce management.

Combient Foundry recently interviewed our team about their experiences and posted the interview on their site. Please check it out to learn more about why we’re excited by what the future holds for our collaboration with KONE and why we highly recommend the Venture Client Cycle to other technology innovators.
